What we collect

We collect what you type into the forms on this site.

If you ask for local providers: your name, email address, phone number, suburb or postcode, the type of job you need, the job address, a description of the job and any notes you add.

If you list your business: your business name, contact name, email, phone, the trades you offer, the areas you cover and, if you choose to give them, your ABN, licence number and years in business.

If you contact us: the details you give us in the contact form.

We also see general site activity, such as which pages are visited and the type of device and browser used.

How we use it

To reply to you; to search for providers for your job and email you the report; to check and list trade businesses; and to run and improve the site.

Who sees it

We do not sell your data.

We do not share your personal data with service providers. The only exception is a connection you choose to make with a provider on the platform, if and when you choose to.

When you send a customer enquiry, we do not share your name, contact details or job address with providers.

We do not publish customer enquiries.

When you type a job address, it may be sent to an address-lookup service so we can suggest matching addresses.

Some of the tools we use to run the site may store information outside Australia.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact page and tell us what you would like us to do.

If you are not happy with how we handle your information you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

This site uses cookies and similar tools to keep it working, to understand general site activity, to measure how our advertising performs and to show relevant ads to people who have visited. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings.

When you register a business, we may share a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address and phone number with our advertising partners, only to measure whether our ads led to your registration.
